Meet our Beauty: Rockin By Moonlite

We feel so incredibly lucky to have been given the opportunity to purchase Rockin By Moonlite through the Reisinger Farms dispersal sale. Moonlite is the perfect fit for our program of breeding for talent, temperament and trainability. His conformation, movement and work ethic is topped only by his big heart and endearing personality. According to Mark Reisinger of Reisinger Farms in Eldora, IA, “We miss Moonlite’s big personality, for a stud it doesn’t get any better and his babies are equally kind. I kept one that’s a yearling and we are just getting ready to start her, she’s absolutely gorgeous – just like her daddy.”

Moonlite was only bred to a limited number of privately owned mares while at Reisinger Farms. Even with less than 20 foals on the ground, his ability to produce outstanding offspring was immediately obvious to Gregg Reisinger. According to his son, Mark, "When Moonlite was injured as a two-year-old in training, Dad made the decision not to push him and make him the junior sire on the farm. Dad really like that horse and bred over half our mares to him. That speaks volumes about his talent.”

Beginning in 2021 with a limited number of breedings, mare owners will now have the opportunity to breed to this outstanding young sire. He passes along his gentle temperament, trainability and talent make him one of the best bets in the equine business. You won’t find a higher-quality, double registered stallion with his remarkable bloodlines at this years introductory breeding fee. 

• Breeding an APHA mare to Moonlite will GUARANTEE a regular registry foal with the 2021 implementation of APHA rule RG-020-1b. 
• Breeding Moonlite to an AQHA mare will produce a double registered AQHA/APHA foal.
• All Moonlite foals will be eligible for the APHA Breeders Trust, the NSBA Breeders Championship Futurity and the NSBA Color Breeders Championship Futurity.
